Practising Sustainability at BaiLogik Team-Building Events

02/16/2024

At BaiLogik, we're passionate about providing unforgettable team-building experiences, but we're equally dedicated to doing this in an eco-friendly way. From the materials we use to the activities we organise, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. Here are some ways we incorporate sustainable and ethical practices into our events.

Repurposing and recycling materials

Throughout our team-building activities, we make a conscious effort to use recyclable materials whenever possible, with any non-recyclable items being repurposed in creative ways. For example, leftover hard-boiled egg shells from our popular 'egg and spoon' race are organically recycled, while the eggs themselves are then fed to stray dogs and cats in our neighbourhood.

We also encourage all participants to bring their reusable bottles to events, promoting the reduction of single-use plastic consumption. However, understanding the needs of our clients, we provide plastic water bottles upon request. Importantly, these bottles are then collected for recycling, ensuring we close the loop and minimise environmental impact. What's more, any proceeds gained from the BCRS recycling machines are donated to charities we support.

Organising team-building activities with a sustainable focus

One of our signature activities involves organising beach clean-ups to remove litter and debris. These events serve a dual purpose – they encourage team spirit and collaboration, while contributing to the preservation of Malta and Gozo's beautiful coastlines. When companies choose to involve their teams in these clean-up events, they instil a sense of community and remind everyone of the impact collective action can have on preserving natural beauty for future generations.

We are committed to balancing memorable experiences with eco-friendly practices. By making sustainability central to our business, we hope to inspire our clients in Malta and Gozo to do the same. So, to experience team-building done right – for your team and the planet – get in touch today and book your event with BaiLogik!
